ASLOT PARK

A platform built by the people who run it

ASLOT is the result of five years of work. Three operators, who had each built their own booking and access tool, joined forces to turn them into a single, complete platform for local authorities, businesses and private individuals. It is published by ASLOT PARK, a company based in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, in the Vendée.

Where does ASLOT come from?

ASLOT grew out of hands-on experience, and out of three parallel stories. Before joining forces, each of the three founders ran their own properties and spaces, and each had ended up writing their own tool to cope: one to open premises remotely, one to manage access and equipment, and one to sell time slots online and collect payments.

Three different tools, one shared conclusion: handing over keys, re-entering payments by hand and keeping schedules in your head stop working as soon as the number of spaces grows. Each of them had solved part of the problem on their own; none had solved all of it.

So they pooled their three solutions rather than carrying on separately. ASLOT is the result of five years of work: booking, payment and access brought together in a single journey, proven on their own sites before being offered to others. The user books a time slot, pays online, receives a code or has their badge activated, and gets in during the booked slot, not beyond.

The full journey, from booking to opening, is described on the how ASLOT works page.

Access control equipment connected to the platform

Three partners, three areas of expertise

ASLOT is designed, developed and operated in-house. Each of the three partners brings what they were already doing: developing the platform, access control and connecting equipment, and the day-to-day running of sites open for booking.

That is what shaped the product’s scope: a complete platform rather than three building blocks to put together, and the same contact from the first meeting through to support. The people who write the platform are the ones who set it up with you, remotely, and who answer the phone afterwards.

Community hall open for online booking

Local authorities, businesses and private individuals

ASLOT PARK is a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS). Its registered office is at 151 avenue de la Faye, 85270 Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, in the Vendée.

The platform serves three audiences on the same foundation: local authorities, for halls, sports halls, aires and car parks open to residents and associations; businesses, such as coworking spaces, private operators, managing agents and marinas; and private individuals who own a space they want to rent out without having to be there at every arrival.

We work with organisations throughout France. Setup is done with you, remotely: connecting existing equipment (keypad, badge reader, electric strike, gate, barrier, bollard), testing openings and training the people who will run the schedule. Configuration, follow-up and support are then handled remotely, Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:30.

The sectors we serve are presented by type of space on the use cases page.

What ASLOT doesn’t do

ASLOT’s scope is deliberately precise: making spaces available for booking, collecting payments and opening access during the time slot. Four related needs are not covered, and it’s better to know that before a demo.

  • Ticketing for public events.
ASLOT books a space for a person or an organisation for a time slot; it doesn’t sell seats for a show.
  • Accounting.
The platform issues payment receipts and exports for the Public Treasury; the accounting itself stays in the accountant’s or revenue officer’s software.
  • A native app.
There’s nothing to install on the phone: booking and management happen in the browser.
  • Residential property management.
Residential leases, rent receipts, year-round management of a home: that’s not what it’s for. ASLOT manages time slots.

If your need is within scope, the pricing page shows what the subscription includes and what’s priced separately.

They brought these three solutions together into a single, complete platform, proven on their own sites before being offered to others.
