Your day, across all facilities
Today’s scheduleFour facilities, one screen, no double bookings.
ASLOT is hall booking software for councils and local authorities. Hiring out a community hall, village hall, multi-purpose hall or meeting room, and booking the sports hall, motorhome aire, municipal car park or community room, all happen on a single platform. The resident, association or visitor books online, pays and receives a code valid for their slot. The booking portal carries the municipality’s colours; the town hall office follows the schedule of all municipal halls and sports facilities, the rates by user group and the recorded free use for local associations, all in one place. Payment is collected online, through the public revenue account (régie) and in line with the requirements for public revenue accounts. Each user receives their invoice, compatible with the municipality’s e-invoicing.
To compare the criteria for community hall management software before choosing, see how hiring a community hall works from the resident’s side, keep a hall schedule as a team or organise payment collection through a revenue account: four pages cover each step in detail.
Book more, manage less. From the hall hire request to payment collection and opening the door, ASLOT automates the whole chain for your community halls and municipal facilities.
Every booking is paid online before access. No more cash to handle or cheques to track.
Your residents book from their smartphones at any hour, without calling the town hall.
Slots booked online, free if that’s the rule the council voted. They gain independence, you keep a full record.
ASLOT connects to your existing equipment, and we handle the payment collection formalities with your Public Treasury office for you.
An association is not managed like a hirer, and treating it as one is the surest way to get it wrong. It occupies slots that come round every week, it often pays nothing, and yet its use must still appear in the usage figures of a public facility.
So ASLOT treats this group separately. The rate depends on who is booking: completely free for your local associations if that’s the rule the council voted, a reduced rate if you prefer, full price for a club from outside the area — on the same slot in the same facility.
Above all, free use is still a full booking: it takes its place in the calendar, it issues access valid for its slot only, and it leaves a record of occupancy. That is exactly what goes missing when associations are kept out of the system because they don’t pay.
The user books and pays online. The code arrives by SMS. The facility opens at the right time — without your teams having to step in.
An ordinary Tuesday, from the first school slot to the last training session. Just one intervention all day — and it’s done from the town hall, in two taps.
It receives a personal link. Behind it: its code, its slot, the facility map and the controls to switch on whatever it needs.
A self-sufficient user means a slot that fills up without any coordination — and a facility that is used for more of the day, to the municipality’s benefit.
A moment captured and time-stamped every time a facility is opened. Your staff know who used what and when, without watching a screen all day.
Included in the subscription, provided your site has compatible cameras. We go through the setup in detail during the demo.
You can read all of this in one place: who uses what, what it brings in, at what rate, and what it costs the local authority. No spreadsheet, no manual readings, nothing to enter.
Four facilities, one screen, no double bookings.
Non-residents account for 14% of slots and a much bigger share of revenue.
Each user group pays the rate that was voted, with no manual step.

The context. A municipality of 3,000 residents in the Pays de la Loire region. It has a village hall, a sports hall, a small community room and a twelve-pitch motorhome aire. Bookings are handled by the town hall office.
The problem before. Hall requests came in by phone and email, then were copied into a paper diary. Keys were handed over on Friday evening and brought back on Monday, with condition reports that were hard to get signed. The sports hall had to be opened for every association slot, Sundays included.
What was automated. All four facilities can be booked on a single platform, with a resident rate, a non-resident rate and recorded free use for associations. Online payment goes through the public revenue account (régie), under the control of the Treasury accountant. Everyone who books receives a code valid for their slot; the hall and the sports hall open with that code, and not afterwards. The condition report relies on the time-stamped access history. This setup is described on the community hall management software page.
What has changed. The town hall office no longer hands out keys and spends the time saved on complex requests and hire agreements. Associations get into the sports hall during their slots, evenings and weekends included. The Public Treasury receives consistent supporting documents. The cost is stated before you order, with hardware quoted separately.
Further reading. Before choosing, read the 12 points to settle before choosing community hall software and check the difference between booking only and booking with access. For the sports hall, see the sports hall booking software designed for associations.

Yes. The resident, association or business booking a hall receives their invoice, and these invoices are compatible with the municipality’s e-invoicing. Each one stays linked to its booking and its payment, with its supporting document and its export for the Public Treasury, without re-keying.
Yes. Community halls, village hall, sports hall, motorhome aire, municipal car park, community room: each facility has its own schedule, its rates by user group and its access settings in the same dashboard. The town hall office sees occupancy and revenue for the whole municipality on a single screen.
Yes, it’s included in the subscription and activated according to your equipment. On your connected equipment, each hall’s lighting and heating are controlled according to the booked slots, with an A–E energy rating for reporting. And as long as the facility has compatible cameras, every entry generates a time-stamped clip, viewable from the local authority’s dashboard.
Yes. Rates are set by user group — €0 for local associations if that’s your rule. They book online, receive their code and let themselves in, without going through a counter.
A public page shows each hall’s real availability. The resident or association chooses a slot, pays the rate for their user group through the public revenue account (régie), then receives an access code valid for the booked period. The council stays in control: approval on request, blocked dates, and bookings taken at the counter entered in the same schedule.
Yes. Each community hall’s schedule is the same for the town hall office, the technical services and councillors. A booked date disappears from the public page instantly, associations’ recurring slots are set for the season and overlaps are refused. It replaces the notebook and the spreadsheet, with no re-keying.
Yes. Your halls’ availability can be checked online, in your colours, from the municipality’s website. Each hall can be booked directly or by request for your staff to approve, and each user group keeps its own rate, free use included.
The subscription starts at €59 excluding VAT per month, all inclusive and with no commitment. Your exact price is set with you during the demo, based on your actual facilities, and formalised through your public procurement procedures.
